	STAGES Biennial 2023 Stages Biennial invites artists from across North America to select and research sites in Winnipeg to activate, respond to, or consider as a point of departure. Maduka has lived in Treaty One Territory for eight years. For her first significant public art installation, she traced her way back to a phrase she used to describe her paintings: My paintings are love letters to my community ︎

In 2020 The Dada Gallery presented a new body of work by Emeka Maduka entitled St. Agnes at 1:54 Art Fair. The fair took place in Somerset House London. In a new partnership between 1:54 and Christie’s Auction House, one of Maduka’s works showed at the Auction House. The inspiration for this work was numerous single-sex Catholic boarding schools in various parts of Nigeria ︎

	Walk Back HomeIn 2019, Ekene Emeka Maduka was one of twenty artists to receive the Dean Prize Award by Kasseem Dean (Swizz Beatz), an American record producer, rapper, songwriter and collector. The award supported solo exhibitions of emerging artists selected globally.
